Local storage we use instead
One optional preference can be saved in your browser’s local storage. Unlike cookies, local storage is never sent to a server: it stays on your device and is read only by Vellora pages in your browser. It is strictly functional.

How to remove or block them
- Clear this site’s data (sometimes called “cookies and site data”) in your browser settings to delete it.
- Private or incognito windows discard it when the window closes.
- If your browser blocks site storage, the site still works: theme choices still work but are not remembered between visits.
Other websites
Links in articles and the source catalog lead to other websites, such as cdc.gov and nih.gov, which have their own cookie policies. Vellora is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics; neither sets cookies on Vellora. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.
Changes to this policy
If Vellora ever adds a cookie or new browser storage, it will be listed here before it is used, and the effective date above will change.
