Corrections policy and version history
Every Vellora research report keeps one stable URL. Changes after publication are recorded below; nothing is changed silently.
How changes are handled
| Type | When it applies | What Vellora does |

| Editorial | Typographical fixes, wording, layout, attribution or links, with no change to data, statistics, methods or conclusions. | Minor version (for example 1.0 → 1.1) when the change is visible in the report or PDF, listed in the version history. Purely cosmetic site changes are not versioned. |
| Methodological clarification | A clearer or more accurate description of data or methods, with no change to any number. | Minor version, listed in the version history with what was clarified. |
| Dataset revision | A source agency revises data a report uses. | The published version stays tied to the recorded data versions. A re-analysis with revised data is published as a new major version, with old and new results compared. |
| Statistical correction | An error that changes a reported number, interval or p-value. | Corrected promptly, with a notice at the top of the report and an entry here stating the old and new values and whether any conclusion changed. The results file, PDF and reproducibility package are regenerated under a new version number. |
| Major update | New analyses, or changed methods or conclusions. | New major version (for example 2.0) with a summary of what changed; the previous version’s PDF stays available from this page. |
Dates are the UTC dates on which a change went live. Each report’s results file carries a version in its file name (v1), and the reproducibility package is versioned separately.
